Last Friday saw a gathering of the tribe for the 2nd annual Whistler Bike Park Pumptrack Challenge.

Chris Schmalz pumps it up down the back straight. Riders had about half the track to get up to speed and when they broke the wand it was game on to see who could lay down the fastest lap.

Kate Whitley hangs it out on one of the many berms. Riders had about an hour and a half or so to hit as many laps as they could get and the 5 fastest times made it into the Finals.

The groms were out in full force and they were all rippers but watch out for this kid. He was the fastest 10 and under Junior Male and a name to remember. Finn Finestone, focused and pumped.

Zander Geddes puts his C4 training to good use. The C4 guys aren't just fast downhillers as Zander showed with a 1st in the 11-17 Junior Male category (and the only junior in the Finals).

Anyone who hangs out at the Airdome will recognize this dude. Dom Wrapson came down from his duties at Lot 8 to pump it up with the crew.

Rachelle Frazer, 3rd in Open Women and the smilingest rider of the night. She seriously had an ear-splitting grin every lap.
